The pressing and the
processing of grapes occur in a wide cellar dating back to the beginning of the last
century. This imposing building, dominating the Valle Versa from the height of the Montu
Beccaria hills, is locate just outside the old "borgo"(the old village).
A
meticulous restoration, ended in 1998 and completed by the instalment of the most advanced
equipment for the production of D.O.C. wines and sparkling wines, has brought the cellar
back to its old magnificence. Our vineyards extend over an area of 80 hectars on the Valle
Versa hills, located in the heart of Oltrepo Pavese, an area which has always been devoted
to the production of great wines.
The grapes are grown according to traditional methods
with competence and with great passion, and the harvest of first quality and accurately
selected grapes is still carried out manually. |
